My Story
My passion for interior design began with a complete home renovation that sparked a love and obsession with design. While every normal person dislikes making 1000 choices regarding architectural layout, color palettes, finishes, light fixtures, counter tops, and wood stains, I loved every second!
With each project I completed the more I fell in love with making a space beautiful. There are endless changes (big and small) that drastically change a space. Naturally, I began helping family and friends with design projects and decided to intern with a local interior designer who inspired me to take my designs to the next level. I enrolled in New York Institute of Art and Design and received a certificate in Interior Design.
My goal is to help people transform their space into one they love. It should stand the test of time, especially in terms of style and durability (those of you with kids and pets certainly know what I am talking about). A home should be functional, while also exuding comfort, warmth and beauty.
I spent over 20 years working as a speech-language pathologist helping people learn how to communicate their needs, wants and ideas into speech. Now my focus is to help people express themselves through design.
